Evoke reviews sale options as UK gambling tax rises approach

Deals & M&A

Evoke said it is reviewing strategic options, including a possible sale of the group or selected businesses, amid planned UK tax increases. The company said the review may not result in a transaction and warned that the changes could add up to £135m to its annual tax bill; it has appointed Morgan Stanley and Rothschild as financial advisers.

Evoke’s review could lead to a sale or asset disposal as planned UK tax increases may raise its annual tax bill.
