DraftKings unveiled DKeX, a prediction markets exchange powered by Railbird, reportedly, according to a report dated 26 June 2026. The exchange is intended for DraftKings Predictions.
The exchange gives DraftKings a proprietary platform for its prediction markets offering, with Railbird as its technology provider.

Limitless Markets US, LLC, has filed with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to become a federally regulated derivatives exchange in the United States, according to the report. The platform offers contracts on whether bitcoin’s price will rise or fall over five-minute periods. The filing seeks regulatory approval; the source does not state that the CFTC has decided on it.
DraftKings launched its DraftKings Predictions app in December 2025 and introduced its DKeX contracts market on 26 June 2026, according to the report. The company developed DKeX using technology and authorisations obtained through its acquisition of Railbird Technologies; the report also says a US professional basketball league expanded its agreement with DraftKings on 26 October to cover prediction markets.
DraftKings is developing its own event-contracts platform and expanding its presence in prediction markets, where it competes with platforms including Polymarket and Kalshi. The Boston-based company, listed on Nasdaq, operates through the independent group DraftKings Inc., which also owns Golden Nugget Online Gaming, acquired in 2022, and the digital lottery platform Jackpocket. Golden Nugget Online Gaming forms part of the group's online casino business, while the physical Golden Nugget casinos were excluded from that acquisition.
Jefferies estimated contract volume across DraftKings’ DKeX and Crypto.com’s Nadex at $42m. The outlet also reported that DraftKings prediction market exchange fees could exceed $57m during the NFL season.
US sportsbook handle rose 43% month-on-month in September, outpacing growth in taker volume on CFTC-regulated prediction markets, according to a Stifel note. Stifel analyst Jeffrey Stantial estimated taker volume at about $17.7bn, up 27%, while notional volume across regulated prediction markets rose 64% to $77bn.
US sportsbook handle grew faster than taker volume on prediction markets regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in September, according to a Stifel note. DraftKings lowered its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $6.35 billion-$6.55 billion, from $6.5 billion-$6.9 billion previously, and reported a third-quarter adjusted EBITDA loss of $317 million. The company said more than 1.6 million customers had used its predictions offering year-to-date and expected 2026 predictions investment of at least $650 million; its shares fell about 22% in Thursday after-hours trading after the results.
DraftKings lowered its 2026 revenue guidance to $6.35bn–$6.55bn from $6.5bn–$6.9bn. It reported a third-quarter adjusted EBITDA loss of $317m, compared with a $126m loss a year earlier.
