DGOJ sets 2026–2030 safe gambling programme for Spain
Spain's DGOJ announced its Safe Gambling Programme 2026–2030 at a meeting of its Advisory Council in Madrid. The plan has three priorities, six overarching objectives and 24 measures to be developed in consultation with the council. It includes research into social media's influence on young people and work to detect risky online gambling behaviour.
The programme could shape Spain's consumer-protection measures, including scrutiny of social media marketing and risky online behaviour.
