Licences & markets

Spain’s DGOJ provisionally granted MRG Spain five licences for sports betting, other betting, gaming machines, roulette and blackjack, following applications submitted on 5 June 2026. The licences depend on final technical-system approval within six months of notification; otherwise, they will expire automatically. The regulator also extended licences for Betfair International Spain and TSG Interactive Spain, trading as Pokerstars.

MRG Spain can resume five gambling verticals only if its systems receive final approval within six months.
