Danish Supreme Court to hear dispute over DK Gambling player funds
Denmark’s Supreme Court is due to hear a dispute over player balances held by bankrupt operator DK Gambling ApS, with a hearing scheduled for 10 March 2027. The appeal court ruled on 13 November 2025 that one player’s balance was protected from the bankruptcy estate; the Spillemyndigheden has permission to intervene in support of the player.
The ruling could determine whether player balances are separated from an operator’s assets in insolvency.
