Curaçao appeals court rejects GSP liability for $123,000 winnings

Regulation

Curaçao’s appeals court ruled on 16 December that Gaming Services Provider was not liable for a player’s claimed $123,000 in unpaid winnings from topbet.eu. The court found no legal basis for requiring GSP to supervise the former sublicensee after its contract ended, and ordered the player to pay GSP’s legal costs.

The ruling limits former master licence holders’ responsibility for player claims arising after a sublicense ends.
