The Cordish Companies and Bruce Smith Enterprise confirmed that the temporary Live! Casino in Petersburg, Virginia, is due to open on 22 January 2026. The venue is planned to have 900 or more slot machines and more than 30 live dealer table games, while the permanent resort is expected to open in 2027.
The confirmed date and planned gaming capacity give suppliers and operators a timeline for the Petersburg launch.
