Coljuegos has established a Judicial Police Unit in Colombia, the regulator said. The unit will operate under the coordination of the Attorney General’s Office and support criminal investigations by collecting evidence, conducting inspections and carrying out digital forensic analysis.

Colombia’s Contraloría General gave Coljuegos a score of 4.93 out of 5 in audits covering 2024 and 2025, according to reports. The audit found no accounting qualifications for 2025, after a qualified assessment in 2024; reported health-sector proceeds rose to 1.06 trillion pesos in 2025 from 753 billion pesos in 2022.
Coljuegos said a raffle held by presidential candidate Santiago Botero in Bogotá on 16 April was unauthorised. The draw offered COP 25 million split among five winners; the regulator said raffles require prior approval and that cash prizes are generally prohibited, subject to exceptions.
Coljuegos president Marco Emilio Hincapié outlined measures to improve licensed gambling operators’ access to financial services during meetings with Colombia’s Financial Superintendent, according to the report. Plans include training bank compliance officers on gambling rules and closer cooperation to prevent illegal online gambling and the use of payment systems to support it.

Coljuegos President Marco Emilio Hincapié said BetPlay and Súper Astro contributed COP347.587bn to the state in 2025, an 11% rise on 2024. He said the funds went towards health-system financing; the two products generated about COP106.259bn from January to mid-March 2026.
