Clark County court receiver seeks sale of Downtown Grand after $90m default
A court-appointed receiver has operated the Downtown Grand in Las Vegas since 5 January, after its owners defaulted on a $90 million construction loan, according to court records cited in the report. The receiver is pursuing a sale, which a judge may approve free of the property’s existing debts under Nevada law. The casino hotel remains open under receivership.
A sale could transfer the casino hotel without its previous owners’ unpaid debts.
