Citigroup’s June survey found premium mass wagers in Macau fell 38% year on year to HK$9.8 million. The survey recorded 448 players, down 29%, and Citigroup attributed the slowdown to the World Cup and a high comparison base from a June 2025 concert; it said it expected a swift recovery after the tournament ends on 19 July.

The survey indicates weaker premium mass wagering and table use across Macau casinos during June.
