CEJUEGO urges DGOJ to align rules for public and private gambling

Regulation

CEJUEGO called for equal regulation of public and private gambling after meeting Spain’s DGOJ as part of discussions on reforming the Gambling Act. Director general Alejandro Landaluce said the association sought a comprehensive update, clearer divisions of authority between the state and autonomous communities, and equivalent rules on advertising and consumer protection. Spain requires online gambling operators to verify payment methods
