Carabineros and municipal security teams dismantled an illegal casino in San Miguel, Santiago, and detained three people, reportedly. The venue had continued operating despite being closed since March 2024; authorities seized 71 machines valued at about CLP100m, or approximately US$100,000.

More than 300 officers inspected 16 commercial premises, including shisha bars, arcades and massage salons, and executed a search warrant against a suspected illegally operated arcade on Hindenburgstrasse, according to police.
Nichelino’s local police seized two unauthorised slot machines at a bar during checks of local venues and betting shops. Authorities issued administrative penalties totalling nearly €10,000 and referred the sanctioned parties to the SUAP, which could begin proceedings to suspend business licences.
