Cambodia prepares casino licence standards and October proxy-betting suspension
Cambodia’s Commercial Gambling Management Commission is preparing minimum suitability standards for casino licence renewals, following a review on 4 September. From October 2026, live-dealer streaming from casinos is also due to be suspended; Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha said casinos that breach the measure could face licence revocation and other legal consequences.
Casino operators face proposed renewal conditions and a stated suspension of live-dealer streaming from October.
