Caesars and Tilman Fertitta continue talks over proposed $18bn acquisition
Caesars Entertainment and Tilman Fertitta are continuing exclusive negotiations over a possible acquisition valued at about $18bn, according to people familiar with the discussions. Fertitta is considering buying Caesars assets at around $32 a share; the proposal would also involve $2bn-$3bn in equity, $4bn-$5bn in borrowing and the assumption of more than $11bn in Caesars debt. No deal has been completed.
The proposed transaction could reshape ownership of casino assets across the US, subject to regulatory scrutiny.
