Buenos Aires law allocates 62% of casino gross profit to province, 2% to host municipality

Regulation

Under Buenos Aires province Law 11.536, the provincial lottery institute receives 62% of casino rooms’ gross profit and the municipality hosting a casino receives 2%, according to the report. Necochea has sold key parcels of its casino complex to A Toda Vela Mar for ARS 4,878 million; a private development could include a new gaming room, but reopening remains conditional.

The law sets the municipality’s casino-profit share, while reopening Necochea’s gaming room remains conditional.
