Brazilian finance ministry prepares betting-platform restrictions
Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) told the National Association of Games and Betting that an interministerial ordinance will add requirements for licensed platforms. The planned rules cover platform design and consumer protection, including deposit prompts and withdrawal offers, while online games would require recertification and a minimum five-second round duration.
Licensed operators may need to change platform features and recertify online games under the planned rules.
