Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Luiz Fux cancelled a conciliation hearing scheduled for 10 February 2026 in a case concerning betting accounts held by Bolsa Família and BPC beneficiaries. Fux said the hearing conflicted with a court session; the existing partial suspension remains in place, including the bar on closing existing accounts and the restriction on opening new ones, pending a new hearing date.

Betting operators must continue to follow the existing account restrictions while the court sets a new hearing date.
