Betty Canada reported net revenue of CA$111m for Q3 2026, a record for the company, according to its trading update. The figure was 11% higher than in the previous quarter. The private operator attributed part of the result to the first contributions from its launch in Alberta.
Alberta operations generated nearly $10m in net revenue from launch on 13 July, the company said. The province recorded 42,831 new depositors in the quarter, including more than 10,000 sign-ups from pre-launch campaigns. Net revenue per active player in Alberta rose from $126 in August, its first full month, to $149 in September, with monthly net revenue of $1.7m in July, $3.4m in August and $4.7m in September. Active players in the province peaked at 31,600 in September. Alberta accounted for 12% of overall revenue in September, a share the company expects to reach 27% by December 2027.
Ontario net revenue grew 12% quarter on quarter, adding $11m, the company said. Betty said it now holds more than a 20% share of the province's online casino market. Advertising spend in Ontario fell 12% quarter on quarter to $15m, while total new depositors rose 6% to 56,702 and customer acquisition cost fell by almost $40 to $313. Net revenue per active player reached $193 in July and $195 in August, both yearly highs, before easing to $183 in September. Monthly active players in Ontario rose from a Q2 peak of 167,000 to 182,000 in September.
The operator reported a record number of active players for the quarter, a 71% rise compared with the same period a year earlier. In September, Betty.ca saw over 214,000 players make a cash wager, which was 28% above the June level.
Betty's remote gaming server went live alongside Vault Wreckers, the company's first original slot, in Ontario on August 31 and in Alberta on September 17. The title logged 50,841 active players over its opening seven days, the company said, with 307 rounds per player on average and 15.6 million rounds in total. No other Betty 2026 new game release in Ontario matched that opening-week round count. Vault Wreckers also "ranked first for total wagers and second for active players and gross gaming revenue."
Betty Bingo recorded its strongest quarter since launch, with net gaming revenue up 78% quarter on quarter to $911,000 and each month of the quarter setting a record, the company said. Together with Mini Slots, the vertical generated $1.3m in net gaming revenue in the quarter and $581,000 in September, an annualised run rate of nearly $7m. In September, 71,000 players played bingo, 39% of Betty's monthly active players in Ontario.
The company said it launched in Alberta with its loyalty programme, daily gamification features and a promotional calendar, and plans to add LiveOps features including Prize Wall, Game Challenge and Collections in Q4. It said Alberta is run almost as an independent business under a dedicated team. "Early signals suggest Alberta will deliver on its promise to become our main growth engine over the coming 14 months," the operator said.
