BetMGM has extended its partnership with Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and plans to launch a new advert featuring him, reportedly after Alberta’s iGaming market opened. The pair have worked together since 2022, mainly promoting BetMGM’s responsible gambling tools.
The renewal continues BetMGM’s marketing partnership in the Alberta market.

Betty Canada said net revenue reached $111m in Q3 2026, up 23% from Q2, after launching in Alberta on 13 July. The company reported nearly $10m in Alberta net gaming revenue in under three months and more than $100m in Ontario, where net gaming revenue rose $11m, or 12%, quarter on quarter.

Reportedly, Delasport has powered the launch of PlayBetNova.ca in Alberta, marking its entry into a second regulated Canadian market. The Betnova brand also uses Delasport's platform in Ontario. The launch follows Delasport's registration with the AGLC as a platform provider and critical gaming systems supplier.
