Betfred suspends Irish services ahead of new licensing regime

Betfred told Irish customers it would suspend services from 30 June, ahead of the new remote betting licensing regime taking effect on 1 July. The company described the pause as temporary while it aligns with GRAI regulations, but did not say how long it would last; it said it would address open bets with customers.

The suspension may affect Irish customers’ access to accounts and open wagers during the licensing transition.
