Bet-at-home reports Q1 revenue decline and €461,000 loss
Bet-at-home.com reported gross betting and gaming revenue of €11.3m for the first quarter of 2026, down 16.1% year on year, and a consolidated loss of €461,000. The company attributed pressure mainly to Austria’s betting tax increase from 2% to 5% of stakes and lower online sports betting activity. It forecast 2026 gross betting and gaming turnover of €46m-€54m and EBITDA, excluding exceptional items, of €0-€4m.
The results show how Austria’s higher betting tax and weaker sports betting activity affected the company’s quarterly performance.
