Belarus ministry proposes tighter gambling advertising rules
Belarus’s Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has drafted a bill to tighten gambling advertising rules. The proposal would ban online gambling advertising and adverts on public transport, restrict television and radio volumes, and prohibit people, animals and betting bonus references in adverts. MART said on 21 August that it had sent the draft to government bodies for review; no timeline was given.
Operators would face proposed restrictions on online, transport, television and radio advertising if the bill proceeds.
