Basque government requires accredited access controllers at gambling venues

Regulation

The Basque government approved a change to public entertainment rules requiring gambling venues in Euskadi to employ registered, authorised admission staff, except amusement arcades. The government said authorisations will last up to ten years and may be suspended or revoked during administrative proceedings; the decree takes effect the day after publication in the Basque Country’s official gazette.

Gambling operators in Euskadi will need authorised admission staff, with amusement arcades exempt.
