Aracaju bans betting-platform advertising in municipally regulated public spaces
Aracaju published Decree 8,740 on 16 July 2026, banning fixed-odds betting-platform advertising in public spaces and other channels subject to municipal control. The rule covers advertising, sponsorship and promotional communications; EMSURB will enforce it, with fines suspended for up to 10 days to allow existing adverts to be removed.
Operators and advertisers using municipally regulated spaces must remove covered betting promotions during the transition period.
