Allwyn appointed Katie Harbron as director of games for the UK National Lottery, with her joining from MrQ this month. She will lead the UK games team and oversee the performance and development of draw-based and interactive instant-win products, the company said.
Harbron’s role puts her in charge of developing and managing National Lottery draw-based and instant-win products.

The Gambling Commission published annual gambling statistics for Great Britain covering April 2025 to March 2026. National Lottery sales reached £7.935bn, up 0.9% year on year, while sales for other lotteries rose 5.7% to £1.171bn. The consumer-facing gambling sector generated £17.5bn in gross gambling yield, an increase of 4.4%.
