Agcom official proposes whitelist to block illegal gambling communications in Italy
Agcom official Davide Gallino proposed a whitelist and technology-based filtering to block communications from unauthorised gambling platforms in Italy, during an EGR Awards panel. He said new guidelines would follow the conclusion of consultation with the sector; Agcom reviews materials submitted in advance by concessionaires but does not issue binding prior opinions.
Operators and platforms may need technical integration if the proposed whitelist is implemented.
