1X2 Network has launched online casino games in West Virginia with Rush Street Interactive, Caesars Entertainment and Fanatics Casino. The launch marks the supplier’s entry into its second US state, following Michigan; it said it is targeting New Jersey, Connecticut and Alberta for future expansion.
The launch expands 1X2 Network’s US reach and gives three operators access to its games in West Virginia.

West Virginia recorded $936.6m in combined sports betting and iGaming wagers in July. Wagering rose 18% against the same month a year earlier.
bet365 has launched sports betting and casino products in West Virginia. The launch takes the operator live in 18 US states as it continues its North American rollout.
It was reported that West Virginia University began a three-year investigation into risky online betting behaviour, including attempts to recover losses. A grant of nearly $300,000 from Arnold Ventures supports the research.

West Virginia Attorney General JB McCuskey expects the US Supreme Court to rule on sports event prediction markets in 2027. He gave the forecast at the summer meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States, where other state officials shared the view.
