KSA fines Novatech €24.8m and Fortaprime €1.8m for Dutch gambling
The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) fined Novatech €24.8m and Fortaprime SRL €1.8m for offering gambling to customers in the Netherlands without local licences, the authority said. It cited player accounts and deposits, absent access-blocking measures, limited age checks and payment options including cryptocurrency; KSA chair Michel Groothuizen said the legal cap limited the Novatech fine to 10% of global turnover.
