Republic Amusements, a Camp Hill company that owns Capital Vending, Apple Vending and Entertainment Experts, is cutting 81 jobs, according to a WARN notice. This follows a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling that skill games are illegal gambling machines, which took effect this week and requires removal of an estimated 70,000 machines. Legislation to legalise and regulate the games has stalled over tax rates, and State Police say they have agreed rolling removal timelines with six operators and distributors.
