Curaçao portal closure leaves licensing seals in transition
Briefing · By SectorWire desk · · Archive
The Curaçao Gaming Authority said its online licensing portal will not return after a breach disclosed in September 2026, and that agreements supporting the platform are ending. The CGA said the closure does not affect issued licences, operator obligations or its supervisory responsibilities. [1][2]
The CGA said it is moving to a new regulatory platform. The shutdown also ends the electronic seal system used to verify domains tied to Curaçao licences. [1][2]
Finance minister Charles Cooper told Antilliaans Dagblad he had not filed a complaint against the CGA, following advice to wait until an investigation into the authority and Random Consulting Ltd is complete. The CGA has ended its service contract with Random Consulting. [3]
