Singapore recorded approximately 24,000 foreigners excluded from Singapore Pools internet betting and 28,000 from jackpot machine rooms in 2024, citing NCPG statistics. The corresponding estimates for 2022 were 4,100 and 5,100. Employers increasingly use exclusions preventively, while annual casino exclusions remained around 155,000 foreigners.
The report said that Singapore’s Auditor-General called for improved controls preventing excluded people and restricted casino employees from gambling. Its 2025/26 report also identified a need to keep excluded customers from gambling with Singapore Pools.
