Fenabanca secretary general Cristian Guzmán said the association backed the original Dominican gambling bill but questioned amendments accepted by the Senate (ES). He cited a 200-metre shop separation rule, article 134’s limits on game sales and the removal of labour breaches as grounds for licence revocation. Guzmán welcomed the requirement for operators to pay the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos, which will join the technical council.
